So, this is the first installment of a new series called My Internet Faves. If you remember back in April when I posted that Update, I mentioned starting a new series where I'd talk about the stuff from the Internet that I like and recommend some content for you guys, and since I needed something other than tags and Monthly Recommendations to fill the Monday posting slots I've decided that now is a good a time as any to start on that. Up first, we enter the world of Booktube with my most recent YouTube discovery: Danielle from Pixie Tonic. Click the icon to go to channel homepage, click here to see her favorite and least favorite books of 2015.
It is time, yet again, for another Monthly Recommendations!!! This months topic focuses on Empowering Female Leads. It took me a good little bit to come up with the entries for this list because I don't have a great deal of female characters that I look up to. These ladies I've met just recently, within the last four or five years; three are from different manga series and the other three are from one Middle Grade series. These women have not necessarily had a huge impact on my life, but they reflect an ideal that I hold of women and womanhood, and their presence in their respective narratives improves the overall quality and well rounded-ness of the whole work.
Time for another book tag, yaaay!!! This time it's the OTP Book Tag. This tag was created by Kirstin Reads, you can click the picture to go to her channel or click her name to go straight to the original video. This tag sounded really interesting to me because, y'know, I have OTP's but I don't get to talk to people about them too much, so I feel like this is a perfect opportunity to share my feels with all of you lovely dumplings. Also, I know that this is a book tag, but I'm going to go outside of that and talk about OTP's that I have in all sorts of mediums, because, for whatever reason, I don't ship a lot of book ships as much as I do movies, anime, and other kinds of ships. Also, I couldn't think of an answer for numbers 4, 7, and 10 so I just skipped them. So, without further ado, let's talk about these lovely love birds. <3
Hello, there my lovely readers!!! If you couldn't guess by the title, today I'm going to be doing the Totally Should've Book Tag. This is a tag that was created by a BookTuber by the name of emmmabooks(click this link to go to the vid; click her pic to go to her channel) and it is sort of an opposite to the Totally Didn't Book Tagcreated by ReadLikeWildFire. There are eleven questions in this tag and they are mostly about things that we'd like to see happen with our favorite books, graphic novels, and the like that haven't happened. YET. So, without further ado, let's get right into it.
